The District demonstrates its commitment of support for beginning teachers and teachers new to Spotswood by offering a comprehensive four-year induction program consisting of four components -- mentoring, professional development workshops, peer observation, and formal/informal evaluation.
Ongoing professional development opportunities are offered to all staff through the PD Academy, teacher inservice programming, Professional Learning Cohorts, and structured independent or departmental initiatives.
