School Counseling - High School

High school years are full of growth, anxiety, excitement, frustration, and hope as students begin to plan for college and career opportunities. High school counselors work in collaboration with school staff, parents and our greater community to create a meaningful, interactive, and supportive environment to transition students to post-secondary goals.

High school counselors are educators uniquely trained in child and adolescent development, learning strategies, self-management and social skills who understand and promote success for today’s diverse students. Counselors support students through this important developmental period assisting students to develop the knowledge, attitudes and skills needed to acquire in academic, career and social/emotional development, which serve as the foundation for future success.

School Counseling - Middle School

Middle school students are characterized by rapid physical growth, curiosity about their world and an emerging self-identity. Middle school counselors work in collaboration with school staff, parents and our local community to create an engaging, supportive, and respectful learning environment whereby our students can explore new interests, develop personal skills, and maximize academic achievement.

Middle school counselors are educators uniquely trained in child and adolescent development, learning strategies, self-management and social skills to best assist students with the knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary for academic, social, and emotional development.

School Counseling - Elementary School

The elementary school years set the foundation for developing the knowledge, attitudes and skills necessary for children to become healthy, competent and confident learners. Elementary school counselors work in collaboration with school staff, parents and the school community to create a safe, nurturing learning environment to best support this growth.

Elementary school counselors are educators uniquely trained in child development, learning strategies, self-management and social skills to support students through this foundational period of academic, social, and emotional development.
